A beautiful fall foliage paddle past woods, meadows,
under an old covered bridge into the scenic Powder
Mill Pond.
Time and meeting place: 9:00am in Peterborough, NH. Rte 101 to Rte
202 at junction of Rte. 202 north and Rt. 136 east, go
east onto 136 and stop within 100 yards at the turnout
on the left which is the riverbank. Do not cross the
Rte. 202 bridge.

offers not only flatwater but a couple of Class I-II
sections thought to be excellent training for beginners.

October 16 (Sat.) - NASHUA RIVER -
Lancaster, MA (EASY)
A continuation of our May 22th trip without the fast
water. We’ll paddle from Lancaster Center through the
Oxbow National Wildlife Refuge.
Time and meeting place: 10:00am in Lancaster. From Rte 495, take
exit 27, Rte 117W toward Bolton. Through Bolton 5.0
miles. Left onto Main Street/MA70 1.2 miles to left
on a dirt road immediately after the bridge in Lancaster
Center.
