Paddling Trips-October

October 5 (Sunday) - WINNIPESAUKEE RIVER, Tilton, NH  (EASY TO MODERATE)
This popular paddle is always enjoyed by everyone. It offers not only flatwater but a couple of Class I-II sections thought to be excellent training for beginners. Meet 9:00am. Leave Rte 93 at exit 20 (Tilton); meet at McDonalds parking lot.Leader: Earl Flanders (603) 536-5652. October 11  (Saturday) - CONTOOCOOK RIVER, Peterborough, NH  (EASY)
A beautiful fall foliage paddle past woods, meadows, under an old covered bridge into the scenic Powder Mill Pond. Meet at 9:00am in Peterborough, NH. Rte 101 to Rte 202 north, 4 miles to 3rd right after Rte 136 onto Scott Mitchell Road. Leader: Tom Quarles (603) 673-7515. Trip Partners: NH Rivers Council.
