Interns and Fellows

The Merrimack River Watershed Council is able to run much more smoothly with the help of our interns and fellows.

Summer 2017 Interns

Leah Gens, Intern

Leah joined the MRWC in May 2017. She is currently studying Biology at the University of Massachusetts Lowell and will enter her sophomore year this fall. When Leah is not at school, she enjoys figure skating on a nationally ranked synchronized skating team called the Haydenettes. She is also interested in conservation and looks forward to working with the MRWC this summer.

Caley Shea, Intern

Caley joined the MRWC in May 2017. She is entering her sophomore year at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where she is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with aspirations to attend law school. In her spare time, you can find her reading a good book or playing music—preferably outdoors. Passionate about nonprofit work, she is excited to learn and make a difference at the MRWC.
